Last night got very frustrating as the clock was ticking and I was losing time on my website. As it all came together, the finishing touches were the most difficult to figure out. The later it got, the heavier my eyes became and the less I was able to think clearly. I knew I needed a good nights rest and then back at it in the morning. While I was at work and Sam was napping, I went back to work. I almost had everything finished, until my computer died and Sam woke from his sleep. I was able to get into the lab an hour before my final was due and put my finishing touches together. I was very pleased with myself, but somehow still in a panic that my professor won't be as pleased as I was. As he put all of the students sites up on the projector, mine was close to the end to be graded... Finally it became my turn and although I was nervous I felt very happy to be finished and to love the finished product. During the critique, my professor seemed very pleased as well. He loved the textures, colors, and setup. When I got home this evening I checked my grades and saw that I received an A. :) My hard work finally paid off!!!
Another exciting thing that happened to me this evening was...
I am flying home with my grandparents this Thursday in their private jet, so my grandpa called to confirm everything and he asked if I would like to be the co-pilot! I didn't know what to say as I was so excited but so nervous at the same time. I have
always wondered what it would be like to fly a plane. Although I won't be flying it, I will be right there in the action to see everything! So of course, I said YES! I know I'm going to probably panic a bit, but I am so stoked!
Today was truly an amazing day for me! I have one final left in the morning and then I am finished for the semester! Wish me luck!!
